Personal Internship at "the Design Labo​" (2018)

Because Japan has fascinated me for many years through culture, art, language, beautifull landscape and work mentality, I wanted experience this first hand.

​

"The Design Labo" is a Tokyo based design firm, it works on architecture, product design and visual design. As this internship was arranged outside of school, I got to do many different assignments for three months.

 

- Designing furniture for a resort located in the south of Japan.

- Ideating and designing a butshudan (a Japanese budhist altar, often used in homes and temples), rather then traditionally big butsudans I needed to design one for small appartments found in bigger cities like Tokyo.

- Designing and rendering Vogue bridal store in Tokyo (competition) 

- And some more smaller assignments
